Night at the Beach

What I did last Saturday:

Grocery shopping - ironing - lunch - did a little bit of study - badminton - dinner at McD - beach!

Yea, it was a random decision to go to the beach!

When I was walking from the halls to the sports centre for badminton with Nooi Hoay and Chean Ying, I said that the weather was really nice and warm that it would be a perfect day to go to the beach. Well, it had been raining for the past week and suddenly it became sunny on Saturday. Not something unusual for a place like Melbourne which has unpredictable weather (some say you can experience 4 seasons in a day)....

Anyway, we played badminton from 4.30pm for 2 hours until dinner time. The friends decided to go to McD for ice cream for a nice treat for ourselves (before dinner haha). And so we went.... just then someone popped up the idea of going to the beach! I thought, wow serious? Beach at this hour??? Are we REALLY GOING?? Just then we were also deciding whether to buy a set meal (as in eating dinner) or not if we were really going to the beach. Few minutes went past and everyone just sorta agreed without 'further discussion'. We asked John who went back to halls to bring his GPS along; while Ryan and Li Ping were looking at Melways for directions to the nearest beach - Mordialloc beach. I have never heard of that name nor have I been there. And yeah we ended up buying set meals each... it's been ages since I last had McD =P

Never thought that what I briefly mentioned in the afternoon would suddenly become true =P

doing big business?

It was really cool at the beach, contrasting to the 27 degrees temperature of the day. It was really windy too and when the wind blew it blew up the sand particles and tiny little 'rocks' which flew according to the direction of the wind --> pain on our exposed legs and face! =/

We played some games at the beach even though it's quite dark...remember the childhood games 'pepsi cola 1 2 3'? Or 'aeiou'? It's fun to play those games again (erm actually I have never played aeiou before this), on a random Saturday night at the beach. =D

Spot the odd one

p/s: does the title remind you of Night at the Museum? Haha =P
