Well well well

There's a lot of noise downstairs. People talking, cheering, laughing, and loud music. There was a toga party going on. Because it's orientation week. And it's 11.38pm now. Guess I have to stay up late again.

This morning/noon I got a little surprise from my neighbour upstairs...I was doing some work on my laptop and I heard a very familiar but long-time-no-hear voice shouting "JESSICAAAA!!" At that moment the name Clarice flashed across my mind, and I knew that Clarice and the rest must have come back to Melbourne from HK! I dashed out of my room, and yes there they were - Clarice, Jim and Kerensky! I gave Clarice a warm hug =) The guys were chatting with my neighbour Jack who just woke up =.= They just arrived this morning, and were feeling quite tired and hungry...so I cooked lunch for them, and Jack's as well. It's been quite a while since I last cooked for 5 people...haha. But lunch is easier to prepare because I cooked fried tomyam noodles =) And it's also an opportunity for me to practise my Cantonese with a group of HK people~

It has been a great weekend. Last night we went to Glen Waverley for supper. 10 of us shared 5 different types of cakes. Oh, didn't think of taking pictures of the cakes, so no pics...I actually think that cake is more 'accessible' this year (as in it's more convenient and easier for us to eat cake whenever we want to) because we're all having hospital placement for the whole year, and the Zouki cafe at hospitals sells good delicious cakes! And coffee too...but we can get free coffee from the staff cafetaria...let's hope that we won't get addicted to coffee *somehow* =P (Okay at this point I can't help but thought of Christina...you know what I mean =P)

Free coffee or tea everyday, it's your choice.

Yup, it's Seremban siew pau! It's my first time trying them...never been to Seremban but had a chance to taste its famous local specialty =)

I didn't know they made it to the Malaysia Book of Records!

Okay this is something else:

3 lunch boxes which are altogether a normal lunch for my friend/coursemate, Trung. He had 4 sandwiches (which means 8 slices of bread), a lunch box of salad and another lunch box of fruit salad. That's what he normally brings to hospital everyday for lunch. I'm still amazed at how much he can eat even after these 2 weeks of sitting down and having lunch together with others outside Zouki cafe. Everytime a friend of ours came over to join us, he/she would say, "Trung IS THAT YOUR LUNCH?!" Hahaha! Yet he's a person who can really eat a lot without getting fat. And he's fit. There's a time when we saw Trung coming to join us for lunch without his usual 3 lunch boxes, and we asked, "Where are your lunch boxes Trung?" Yeah I'm still amazed :O

During our Medical bedside tute today...

Our tutor (who is also the Clinical Dean) went to talk to a patient whom we can take a history and perform a cardiac examination from while we were waiting outside of the room. Then he took us in to meet the patient.

Patient: So, you want me to be a G.P. eh?

Tutor: G.P.? Oh are you going to be a General Practitioner?

At the same time I was wondering whether did he get the message across that we were the ones going to examine him...just then...

Patient: No no no, a G.P.

Tutor: General Practitioner?

Patient: Guinea Pig.

今天是情人节！祝大家情人节快乐啦~

昨晚很心血来潮出外吃晚餐。哦，是这样的，我在7.20pm 去找妮蕙，她说朋友们在十分钟前就突然决定要来个 group date，十分钟后出发，听得我都吓了一跳，还好我还没开始煮饭呢！

这次我们人可多了！我们12人中有4个就是驾车兼有车人士，除了一早就有车的Daniel 和 Sheryl 外，刚买到汽车的人就是朝旺和 Justina了！在大家的一番拖拖拉拉之下，我们终于决定到 Springvale 吃晚餐。决定好后四辆车就浩浩荡荡的出发啰~

吃晚餐时我们有说有笑，由于有两个John，所以我们打算一个叫John，另一个就叫John John （听起来蛮可爱，叫起名字来有点geli）……食物的份量都很大，我们吃得不亦乐乎。吃到一半时Ryan 和芸颖过来了，Ryan 也是刚买到车，所以一下子就可以从Dandenong 过来。

付钱的时候有点乱七八糟，朝旺去结账后把找回来的钱算一算，多出了$15++！他提议把钱收起来改天用来租羽球场，我们都同意了。当时才9.35pm，“司机”们经过一番讨论后决定去 Ryan 和芸颖的家坐坐。结果我们在那里玩牌，“坐”到差不多12am 才“依依不舍”（也不是什么依依不舍啦，其实大家都累了）地踏上归途。

p/s: 故意把那些成语bold和画上线因为我觉得很像在写小学作文！虽然我是故意那样写的，哈哈~

This is not quite accurate...because I don't put my photos in the My Picture folder, and I arranged my photos according to year...but anyway, Photos 2007 is the 6th folder with pictures in my hard disk, and this photo is in the 6th pic in the 6th folder. This was taken not long after we first arrived in Melbourne, that's the first time we went to city (I think) and took picture in front of the State Library...

I have no idea who to tag but I know one person who is quite free (should be).....Chien!!! =P

Bought this poster last year, just that I put this up at a different corner in my room.

Turn around and you'll see the 3-door-wardrobe. Not much deco here but I prefer it that way.

Brought the two posters from home. I don't really know how to appreciate them (as in appreciate art) but I like the vibrant colours. Besides, leaving them at home in my drawer means no much use. The key chains that I hang on the board are mostly from friends =)

ALL (except one) are from friends, which I have collected over the years (well, just 2 years actually) =D Thanks to my friends who have made this corner of my room so lovely and colourful...now I wonder how am I going to bring them home after I graduate

Just got a new phone few days ago (free!) with the signing of another new contract with 3. Still the same $29 cap plan, just that some things that are included in the cap are different eg. free video calls, more credit etc.

I think people will think that I love pink but it's actually a coincidence (the colour of the key chain and the pencil case). I have been using that key chain for my previous pencil case...by the way, this pencil case reminds me of Angelene because it's pinky + Hello Kitty! You want you want? =P (Princess Ong loves purple now..)

Right now, this below is another essential item for summer. Not to be missed in everyone's room.





My faithful buddy since 2007. I remember the whole gang of us went to Big W in the city to buy this fan which cost $14 each on promotion! And coz we were buying lots of some other stuff, we requested Big W to mail us the things we bought...haha...those were the days

Pack and unpack

Pheww...after 10 hours of flight (8 hours from KL to Gold Coast, 2 hours from Gold Coast to Melbourne) I finally reached Melbourne on Saturday night with Ryan and Yun Ying. The reason we booked the tickets to Gold Coast instead of Melbourne earlier was because....Air Asia hasn't announced its KL-Melbourne route yet when we booked the tickets, and just 1 week after we booked they announced the new route!! Grrr...but thank God that it's a chance for us to escape the heat of Melbourne that Saturday morning/afternoon, Gold Coast was much cooler. The temperature at Melbourne on Friday was the highest - 45 degrees! We were lucky that we arrived on Saturday instead of Friday =)

Friends who arrived earlier helped me to take out my stuff from storage...and I treated them 珍珠奶茶 the next day to repay their kindness...I happy, they happy haha =) Have been unpacking my stuff and decorating my room (yeah with new decorations!) these 2 days.

Chinese New Year at KB was fun! Went to 拜年 with my friends on the 3rd day. We went to about 12 or 13 houses...hehe!

We played cards and mahjong at her house before going to Pizza Hut for lunch.

...we moved on to Zia En's house! Went to KK with Chui Shen to send Jen Yun and Ai Wei home and visit their houses...first time stayed at KK till so late (around 11.30pm)! Wooohh, 拜年 from 11am till 11.30pm...haha~ Went to Mr Cheng's house the next day (初四), then went back to my house with my friends (some of them didn't visit the day earlier)...and we played Play Station (gathering at my house usually includes playing games haha), then took some pics before they left.
